Safe Operating Procedure
Adult Bouncy Castles
- Ensure that footwear is removed (socks are ok)
- Ensure all sharp objects are removed – badges, jewellery, pens, purses, etc.
- Spectacles/Glasses should be removed
- No food or drink to be consumed on the inflatable
- No Party Poppers, Face Paints, and Silly String to be used on or near the inflatable
- Users with a history of neck/back problems/brittle bones or who are pregnant should not use the equipment
- No one under the influence of Alcohol or Drugs to use or supervise the inflatable
- Do not allow anyone to play/bounce on the front step
- Do not allow anyone to obstruct the front entrance
- Do not allow users to climb or hang from the walls
- Somersaults and rough play should not be allowed
- Adults and children should NOT use the inflatable at the same time
- Activity should be watched and monitored at all times and users should be removed if play becomes rough.
- If the inflatable is not being used then deflate the unit. DO NOT LEAVE AN INFLATED UNIT UNATTENDED
- This Unit requires Adult supervision at ALL times.
- Recommended numbers: 15’x15’adult bouncy castle – max 6 adults at any one time
- These numbers are guidelines only – the person supervising the inflatable should determine the final number – if users are bumping into each other IT IS TOO CROWDED
- Do not allow onlookers to block the entrance or stand within the perimeter fence
- It is your responsibility to ensure that this procedure is followed.
